Madison County lawyer temporarily suspended

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A Madison County lawyer has been temporarily suspended.

According to a news release from the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility, Angela Joy Hopson was suspended on Wednesday.

The release says Hopson was suspended for failing to respond to the board about a complaint of misconduct.

The board says the suspension will remain until “dissolution or modification” by the Tennessee Supreme Court.
