Woman arrested after drugs found in Huntingdon home
CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. — A woman is facing charges following the search of a Huntingdon home.
Carla Bridgett Lawton, 45, is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule IV drugs and possession of schedule III drugs, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
The TBI says the investigation began in June, and agents with the TBI, along with investigators from the Huntingdon Police Department and Henderson County Sheriff’s Office searched Lawton’s Holmes Mill Road home.
The TBI says agents found methamphetamine, Suboxone strips, Xanax pills and drug paraphernalia in the home.
Lawton is currently held in the Carroll County jail.
