FedEx in Humboldt to begin building new facility

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — FedEx in Humboldt is getting a new facility.

The Humboldt Chamber says the new building will be eight times larger than its current location, and will be connected by FedEx Way, a new road set to be built inside the Gibson County Industrial Park.

The new space is also expected to bring in additional positions.

“We’re very excited that FedEx has not only chosen to remain in Humboldt, but to greatly expand their building footprint and employee count,” said Humboldt Chamber Executive Director Amanda Love. “They’ve been a great community partner all these years and the Humboldt Chamber is proud to have them as part of our family.”

The Chamber says the facility is expected to open in fall of 2022.
