JTA to offer ‘Quarter Ride Days’ December 23 & 24

JACKSON, Tenn. — “Quarter Ride Days” are returning to the Jackson Transit Authority this holiday season.

JTA will offer their annual 25 cent days on December 23 and 24.

According to a release, all rides will be 25 cents on fixed bus routes and 50 cents on “The Lift.”

Student and senior citizen/disabled reduced fares, along with LIFT coupons and JTA punch passes will be accepted with no policy changes.

The release says no transfers will be given with the 25 cents fare.

JTA’s service hours are 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Monday through Saturday, except holidays.

Regular fare service will resume on December 27.
