Santa to bring early Christmas to Dresden

DRESDEN, Tenn. — This Thursday, one West Tennessee community will be treated to an early Christmas.

The Dresden Elks Lodge will host “Christmas Strong: Santa Brings Christmas Back to Dresden.”

Between 1 and 1:30 p.m., Santa will arrive via helicopter, delivering donated toys to Dresden-area children affected by the recent tornadoes.

In addition to the gift distribution, there will be many holiday-themed activities including cookie decorating, photos with Santa, a hot cocoa bar and more.

Dresden Elks Lodge #2373 is located at 449 South Poplar Street in Dresden. The event is expected to last from 1-4 p.m.
