HENDERSON, Tenn. — Women in business roles were honored on Tuesday at a local university.
The Freed-Hardeman University College of Business highlighted the contributions of women in business, along with opportunities and challenges they face, during a half-day conference held on the campus.
The no fee conference began at 7:30 a.m. with coffee in the lobby of the Brown-Kopel Business Center. Chapel began at 8 a.m. in the Ayers Auditorium.
Managing partner at The Mom Complex and FHU alumna, Lauren Fitzgerald was the keynote speaker for the event.
“Bringing all of these really smart women together today to talk about their success stories and their lessons learned is so important for women who are anywhere in their career in business,” Fitzgerald said.
