Adult, child killed in Memphis stabbing; 3 others injured

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Police say an adult and a child were killed and three others were injured in a stabbing at a home in Memphis, Tennessee.

Officials say first responders found the victims early Saturday and pronounced one adult dead at the scene and a child was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Police told news outlets that three other victims were hospitalized in critical condition.

WMC-TV cited a police affidavit in reporting that the victims identified their attacker as 23-year-old Leaudre Isabell.

Police said Isabell was arrested and charged with two counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder.

It wasn’t immediately clear if he has an attorney.
