Day 4: Comic Con, Everything That Was Missed

We’re on day four, the final day of Comic Con, and we’re going to be giving you some of the announcements that slipped through the cracks at San Diego.

First off, Disney released the Teaser trailer for their newest series National Treasure: Edge of History. Lisette Alexis as Jess Morales as she embarks on an epic journey to save a long-lost Pan-American treasure and uncover her family’s mysterious past. It is set to serve as a continuation of the National Treasure film franchise.

Disney also shared the first look at their new Disney Channel animated series, Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. It is set to star Diamond White as the titular Moon Girl and set to debut in 2023.

Paramount+ dropped the teaser trailer for Teen Wolf the Movie. It is set to be a continuation of the 2011 MTV series Teen Wolf with a majority of the original cast returning. The film is set to debut on Paramount+ in October 2022.

In terms of the Masters of the Universe franchise, it was announced that William Shatner will be joining the cast of Masters of the Universe: Revolution, the sequel to the Netflix series Masters of the Universe: Revelation. It is unknown currently when the show will be released.

Continuing in the Masters of the Universe franchise, they also released the first trailer for Season 3 of the more child-friendly He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. It is set to debut on Netflix on August 18, 2022.

Moving over to the Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise, Avatar Studios have revealed what their first animated movie will be. They revealed that it will be focusing on the hero of the original series Aang and his friends; however, no other information was given about the film.

Keanu Reeves revealed that his comic cook series BRZRKR will be getting adapted into an anime for Netflix. Two seasons have been confirmed, but a release date has not been announced.

Paramount+ announced the cast for their newest Transformers animated series, Transformers: EarthSpark. The cast includes Anny Pudi as Bumblebee, Alan Tudyk as Optimus Prime, Rory McCann as Megatron, and Sydney Mikayla as Robby Malto. The series is set to debut on Paramount+ in November 2022.

And parents, this one’s for your kids, HBO Max released a new trailer for the upcoming preschool series Batwheels. It was also revealed that HBO Max will be debuting a half-hour prequel special called “Secret Origins of the Batwheels” on Batman Day, September 17, 2022.

AMC dropped the first trailer for Anne Rice’s Interview with a Vampire. The show is a modern retelling of the novel and is set to star Jacob Anderson of Game of Thrones fame. The show is set to debut October 2, 2022.

And the last thing on the docket is Apple+ dropped the trailer for Season 3 of Mythic Quest. The show is set to debut on Apple+ in the Fall of 2022.
