A local church gives opportunity to check your health
JACKSON, Tenn. — A local church opened both it’s doors and parking lot to host a community based health fair.
The hope of the event is to bring awareness to healthier lifestyles through the various vendors, meal samples, and the power of prayer.
Dr. Victor Nwazue, a nephrologist at the Jackson clinic, who was involved with the health fair, shared some tips to stay healthy.
“Drink plenty of water, get some air. You know, get good rest, exercise, you know and trust in god. You know, its most important,” said Nwazue.
Pastor Forte of Marantha Seventh-day Adventist, says he hopes they are able to make an impact on Jackson and Madison county through this event.
