Carolyn M. Hodges

Carolyn M. Hodges, age 77, resident of Arlington, Tennessee and wife of the late Jim Hodges, departed this life Saturday afternoon, November 19, 2022 at her home.

Carolyn was born February 27, 1945 in Tazewell, Virginia. She was a homemaker throughout her life and enjoyed shopping, known to her as “retail therapy”. Carolyn loved her house and enjoyed making improvements and decorating. She adored her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

Mrs. Hodges is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Joyner (James) of Bartlett, TN; her son, Mitch Hodges (Samantha) of Evansville, IN; five grandchildren, Cleve Joyner, Rachel Hall (Walker), Kyle Hodges, Andrew Hodges and Landon Hodges; and her great-granddaughter, Harper Joyner.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred L. Osborne; two sons, Jaimie Hodges and Cleve Hodges; and her sister, Charlotte Williams.

A visitation for Mrs. Hodges will be from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Memorial Services will be at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland.
