GALLERY: Parents put on their Sunday best for Cuties Day Ball

JACKSON, Tenn. — Mothers and fathers put on their Sunday best to show up for their Valentine.

Washington Douglass Head Start hosted their Valentine’s Cuties Day Ball Tuesday morning.

The event was held to show the importance of parents being involved in their children’s lives.

The Cuties Ball attendees had the pleasure of dancing, picture taking, and the kids got treat bags to take home.

“This is an excellent opportunity to involve our parents, and especially our dads, in the lives of their children. We are very proud to partner with parents in order to create positive outcomes in the lives of all of our children,” said Jerry Woods, the center manager.

Washington Douglass has a parent involvement program, but this year they started their male initiative.
