West Tennessean faces vandalism, arson charges

ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A West Tennessean is facing charges for arson on the other side of the state.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, their agents began investigating a fire at a rehabilitation clinic in Norris, which is northwest of Knoxville.

The TBI says that investigators found that the fire was set on purpose, and say that Tiffany Pearl Extine, 32, of Decatur County, was found to be the person responsible.

Extine was arrested on Sunday and has been charged with aggravated arson and vandalism. She was booked into the Anderson County Jail.

The TBI worked with the Norris Police Department and the 7th Judicial District Crime Task Force during the investigation.
