Jackson State to make applying to scholarships easier

JACKSON, Tenn. — The process of applying to scholarships is going to be easier at a local college.

Jackson State Community College Foundation

The Jackson State Community College Foundation announced on Monday the launch of Award Spring.

Award Spring, according to the news release, will allow students to fill out one application that will then match them with scholarships that match the information provided by the student.

“The Award Spring platform is a much-needed upgrade that will make the Foundation’s application process easier for the students we serve, but also ensure students receive every possible opportunity for scholarship awards,” said Lindsey Tritt, Director of the JSCC Foundation. “Our hope is that this new system allows our students to know what’s out there and be able to apply for additional aid they weren’t aware of before.”

Award Spring is set to go live on March 1, according to the release.
