Registration for summer job program to begin in March
JACKSON, Tenn. — Registration for a summer job program is beginning within the next two weeks.
According to the release, Jackson and Madison County kids will be able to register for the Follow Me Into Business Summer Jobs Program and the STEM Program on March 13.
The program, hosted by the Jackson Madison County African American Chamber of Commerce, will give kids aged 12 to 18 free business training, job shadowing, and mentoring opportunities.
Plus, those 16 to 18 can also join in on paid summer jobs.
The program will go from June 2 through July 21, with an orientation in May.
Parents can grab an application packet from the African American Chamber from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 351-C North Royal Street from March 14 to March 18.
