Two-day conference to focus on grief

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Positive Living Group is holding a Grief Conference.

The two-day conference will be held in early May, and feature Dr. Robert A. Neimeyer and co-
presenter, Dr. Carolyn Ng, from the Portland Institute of Loss and Transition, as speakers.

The conference will have workshops from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., one titled “Grief and Its Complications” and the other “Techniques of Grief Therapy: A Clinician’s Toolbox.”

Participants will be able to earn 14 CEUs, the news release says, and will have completed two of three steps toward obtaining their Grief Therapy Counseling Certification.

It will be at the DoubleTree Hotel on May 10 and May 11.
