Stabbing under investigation in Selmer

SELMER, Tenn. —Stabbing suspect in custody in Selmer.

According to information from the Selmer Police Department, a suspect is in custody after a person was stabbed at a local gas station on Saturday morning.

The stabbing took place at Murphy’s Gas Station located at 1015 Mulberry Ave. in Selmer.

Selmer Police Department indicated that a suspect, Theodore Deschler, is now in custody and was booked into the McNairy County Jail Sunday morning.

The department indicated that the investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
