Toyota Tennessee celebrates anniversary, distributes $100k in grants to nonprofits

JACKSON, Tenn. — Toyota Tennessee celebrates 20 years on the block.

Since breaking ground in 2003, Toyota Tennessee has set the standard in advance manufacturing, collaboration and community engagement.

To honor that legacy, community and nonprofit leaders gathered Tuesday to celebrate the automakers 20th anniversary of manufacturing in the region.

Toyota gave away $100,000 in grants to five nonprofit organizations.

Toyota Tennessee is one of the nine Toyota plants in the United States, and employs more than 400 people, with a total investment of $425 million.
