Several summer camps come together at Muse Park
JACKSON, Tenn. — Seven different summer camps from around the area joined together for a fun day of games in Muse Park.
Bridgett Parham, the Recreation Manager for Jackson, said this is always an important time of year for children.
She says that getting all of the kids together to interact with one another has been such a blessing since the pandemic ended.
Other than the kickball tournament, the kids enjoyed the playground, arts and crafts, and basketball.
“We have about seven camps that are out here. We have TR White Sportsplex, which is another city camp. We have the YMCA, New St. Luke, we have the Hub Club. So we just have a variety of camps that have come together so that the youth can get together to do outdoor activities,” Parham said.
Parham said the directors of each camp make it a priority to get them together each summer.
