Brownsville Police seek 6 suspects in liquor store burglary

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — The Brownsville Police Department is investigating the burglary of a local business.

According to police, around 2:12 a.m. on Sunday, July 2, six individuals arrived in two separate vehicles to Uncorked Wine and Spirits, located at 156 South Dupree Street in Brownsville.

According to suspect descriptions, the individuals were wearing hoodies, masks and gloves.

Brownsville Police say one of the suspects used a sledgehammer to break the glass to the front door.

The six individuals then entered the store, and according to police, stole around $40,000 in alcohol.

The two vehicles the suspects arrived in include a silver Infinity SUV, plate # DAY9160, which was stolen out of Memphis and is believed to be back in that area. The other vehicle is a white Infinity with heavy front end damage.
