Local neighborhood celebrates togetherness

JACKSON, Tenn.—A local neighborhood celebrates another year of being together.

Neighbors of Cotton Ridge Drive joined together Saturday afternoon to celebrate being thankful for what they have.

For the past four years, these neighbors have gathered at the same yard to grill and have fun.

Members of the community pitch in and donate money towards making this annual event a bash.

It offers food, jumpers for kids, and lots of time spent together with neighbors.

The event takes three to six months of planning but every moment is worth it.

Greg Hart and Marley Gentry shared how the event thrives.

“Everybody just contributes, this one brings that, this one brings that, and we just come together as one and that’s how we get it done,” said Greg Hart, Neighborhood member.

Greg and Marley are already looking forward to seeing how next year can top this year’s event.
