Jackson church to host trunk-or-treat event

JACKSON, Tenn. — A local church is inviting the community to a fun event.

Aldersgate Methodist is inviting you to join them this Saturday, October 28 to their trunk-or-treat event.

There will be bounce houses, a cake walk, face painting, and some door prizes.

The event is from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. in the church parking lot.

This event is unique as members will have biblical-themed stations to pass out candy.

“So kids and families that may not get to hear these stories or are not in a place to be exposed to these stories,” said Pastor Chris Cooksey. “This is a fun and creative way for them to come alive for people.” 

In the event of rain, the trunk-or-treat will be rescheduled for Sunday, October 29 at the same time.
