Hub City Productions launches screenplay contest

JACKSON, Tenn. — If you have an idea for a movie or a short film, an upcoming contest may help bring your project to life.

Hub City Productions will soon be hosting its first script competition.

From November 1 to February 18, original scripts and screenplays can be submitted to potentially be awarded funding, helping produce the project from script to screen.

Submissions will be read and deliberated on by Hub City Production’s board of directors, and a total of two projects will be selected: one winner from the 30 page max category, and one winner from the 15 page max category.

Winners will also be allowed free entry to the 2024 Hub City Film Festival.

Hub City Productions is expected to announce the winners on March 31, 2024.
