Residents lace up shoes in support of those battling breast cancer
JACKSON, Tenn. — Participants across the Hub City came together for the 14th annual Take Your Girls Night Out 5K and one-mile walk.
The race kicked off at the Woman’s Clinic in west Jackson with many dressing in their best costumes for the spooky season.
Survivors in attendance told us seeing so many people at an event like this gives them hope and lets them know they are not alone.
The event was hosted by the Woman’s Clinic with proceeds from the event helping to support women battling breast cancer by assisting with their medical and living expenses.
The university’s first ever scholarship banquet was held in 1997.
