‘Getting Fit for a Cure’ event to be held in Jackson in November

JACKSON, Tenn. — An upcoming event could have your heart pumping for a good cause.

The Nu Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Jackson, TN, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., will present “Getting Fit for a Cure” on November 4.

Attendees are invited to “unleash their inner warrior” to battle breast cancer with a range of sweat-inducing workouts.

The physical fitness challenge will test how long you can stay on the stairmaster and how many crunches or push-ups you can do.

The event will also include games, giveaways and more fun.

The “exercise for a cure” event will be held at Fitness 1440, located at 955 North Parkway in Jackson. There is a $5 minimum donation fee for entry.
