USJ team gets send off from community
JACKSON, Tenn. – A community is saying goodbye and good luck to one local team as they head off to play.
There was a send off Wednesday at the University School of Jackson Lady Bruins facility.
It was for the USJ soccer team who is traveling for the state tournament. Their first state tournament game is at Baylor.
“The best part is probably everyone you have lined up waiting for you and just all the support coming from everyone’s awesome,” said Ava Barham, Senior Soccer Player #8, USJ Lady Bruins.
The team has been prepping since July, conditioning from the beginning of the summer until right before getting on the bus.
