Fentanyl, other illicit drugs seized after traffic stop, search of residence
DYERSBURG, Tenn. — Local authorities seize multiple illicit drugs, including fentanyl, during a traffic stop arrest.
According to the Dyersburg Police Department, on Wednesday, a Dyersburg officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by the subject of a drug investigation.
Police identify the driver as 58-year-old Terrance Warren from Dyersburg.
According to authorities, a police K9 alerted on Warren’s vehicle, and a search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, and cash.
Dyersburg Police shared that officers applied for a search warrant on Warren’s residence at 542 Sugg Street, which also resulted in the seizure of suspected cocaine and marijuana.
Warren is currently in custody at the Dyer County Jail pending further action in court.
According to Dyersburg Police, Warren was recently released from jail on a $100,000 bond issued through Dyer County General Sessions Court, stemming from a drug arrest by the West Tennessee Drug Task Force and Dyer County Sheriff’s Department earlier in October.
