Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program kicks off for the holidays
JACKSON, Tenn. — Angel Tree is underway at The Salvation Army, a program that’s intended to help families.

This ministry is set up at different locations, such as Kroger, The Lift, and Walmart.
Community members get to shop for kids and help to make every child’s Christmas bright.
The plan is to make sure that every home has a fair amount of their needs provided this season.

“I want them to be able to feel that joy, and it’s worth doing the whole program, getting people involved and doing so many things to give back, and to just know how excited they’ll be after Christmas. When they come back to the office and are like, ‘I got a bike and I got this!'” said Emily Rickett.
If you’re supporting this cause, items for Angel Tree need to be donated to Salvation Army by December 11.
