New holiday expo lends support to local businesses
HUMBOLDT, Tenn.—Holiday lovers are you ready? Tis’ the season to shop!
A new event kicked off this afternoon in the city of Humboldt.
Hello Grace took place from noon until 7 this evening.
This event allowed new and smaller businesses to gain exposure as well as, offering the community limitless options to choose from.
This expo had many selections to choose from such as food, clothing and jewelry.
The coordinator stated that she plans for this event to continue to grow and inspire others to start their own business.
“I’m not making any money off of it. I’m just trying to pay for what it is, whether it’s music or decorations, and just make it as low as I possibly can, so that small businesses can have a space for a holiday market,” said Annika Brooks, Event Coordinator.
The next event has not been scheduled yet, but Brooks stated that she plans to bring it back next year.
