West Tennesseans enjoy the sounds of the Jackson Symphony

JACKSON, Tenn.—Tonight in Jackson, guests could enjoy some sounds of the symphony.

Families from all over West Tennessee gathered to hear the sounds of the Jackson Symphony at the First Baptist Church in Jackson.

They performed Mozart pieces reimagined and also a world premiere commission piece.

One of the performances was accompanied by the Regional Choirs and Soloists.

Another special element about this night is bass player, Marco Alexander, as he sang in the first performance.

“Turnouts have been great. We have a lot of people from the community and I got to speak to a lot of them earlier. There’s people from all over. All over West Tennessee and that’s what the Jackson Symphony is, it is West Tennessee’s symphony orchestra and we’re so excited for people to come out and enjoy,” said Tracy King, Director or Marketing of Jackson Symphony.

On December 2, the Jackson Symphony will have their Holiday Pops at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
