Open house held for new outpatient clinic in Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Clinic and Baptist Memorial Health Care have partnered together to create a new outpatient clinic in Jackson.
With construction starting back in February of 2022, the building is finally complete and almost ready to see patients.
Jason Little, President and CEO of Baptist Memorial Healthcare, says he is grateful for this partnership.
“Well we’re excited at Baptist to be able to partner with The Jackson Clinic to bring all of their physicians and their multi-specialty model of care here, combined with Baptist Carroll County’s surgery department, to deliver an outpatient, innovative model that going to be fantastic for patient care in West Tennessee,” Little said.
The entire idea for this clinic is to make it easier for the patients. One of the main points made during the presentation is that patients will no longer need to visit several different facilities. This campus will have everything that they need.
“Well we focused on developing a process and a system that’s seamless, that’s integrated, that’s patient focused, and I think when people step into this building either to have their clinic visit, or to receive their surgery, what they’re really going to notice is how everything works together so well here for their care,” said Little.
Mark Allen, the CEO of The Jackson Clinic, says this facility is a step in the right direction of what The Jackson Clinic and Baptist envisioned the future of healthcare would look like.
“We’ve had a great relationship and a shared vision when it comes to what does outpatient medicine look like in the future of healthcare,” Allen said. “And I think this facility is a first step in that vision.”
They plan on opening the facility for patients in December.
The campus is located on Innovation Drive, in the southwest corner of the 45 Bypass and Passmore Lane.
