Local students preparing Taste of Liberty holiday meals, orders open now

JACKSON, Tenn. — From chicken and dressing to chocolate chess pie, this local school gives us plenty to be thankful for.

Culinary students at Liberty Technology High School can prepare your holiday meals for you.

The students are juniors and seniors taking their Culinary III class.

The Taste of Liberty holiday orders are going on right now until November 13.

The dishes have to be picked up by Friday, November 17.

You can also eat Thanksgiving lunch in person with them from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. next Thursday. It will be a full blown Thanksgiving meal – ham and the whole works!

“We have the same customers and sometimes some other extra ones every year, so they’re happy with what they’ve ordered and that makes me really happy that we can do that, and at the same time, the students are learning, and a lot of them go home and help their parents,” said Erma Johnson, Culinary Arts at Liberty Tech.
