Nite Lite Theatre hosts first performance of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”

TRENTON, Tenn. – One group is getting into the Christmas spirit with a special performance.

Trenton’s Nite Lite Theatre hosted their first performance of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” Thursday night.

The musical comedy was held at the Berlynne Holman Theater at Peabody High School in Trenton.

The performance follows the story of a family that has to take over the production of a Christmas pageant after the director has an accident. And then come the bad kids.

“Basically these horrible just bad kids, and they’re called the Herdmans. They wanna be in this Cchristmas pageant. Everyone thinks it’s gonna be a horrible, bad show. Everything goes wrong, but in the end it turns out to be the best Christmas pageant ever,” said Warner Boals, who plays Ralph Herdman.

If you would like to see the performance for yourself, there will be four more showings over the weekend, including two showings on Saturday.
