“The Marvels” features a lot of cats

LONDON (AP) – One of the joys that director Nia DaCosta had in making the new movie “The Marvels” was a bunch of cats on the set.

Two cats named Nemo and Tango played Goose, and DaCosta calls them “fantastic actors.”

There were also about 20 kittens who were needed for the film. DaCosta says she’s allergic to cats, but she had a great time chasing them around.

That was not the case for star Brie Larson, who has a cat allergy so severe she needed stunt doubles. “The Marvels” is in theaters now.
