Marilyn Faye Collins Hopper

Marilyn Faye Collins Hopper, age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving family in Jackson, TN.  All services are under the direction of the Bells Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hopper was born in Medon, TN on March 6, 1944, to the late Ervin Collins and Annie Helton Collins.  She was a member of the Madison Baptist Church of Jackson, TN.  Mrs. Marilyn was a hard worker and a wonderful chef.  She was a dedicated member of the Holiday Inn for 15 years and Mike’s Raceway for 10 years.  She loved her family and adored her grandchildren.  She collected angels and butterflies.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years:  James Edward Hopper; four brothers:  Harold Collins, Bill Collins, Tom Collins, Ray Collins; two sisters:  Inez Young and Beverly Ann Collins.

She is survived by one son:  James Wade Hopper of Jackson, TN; one daughter:  Marie Young of Jackson, TN; one sister:  Betty Nell Jones; three brothers:  Hershel Collins, Buck Collins and Cooney Collins; She leaves a legacy of 5 grandchildren:  Michelle Pickard, Rachael Nichols, Robyn Gould, Rudy Lee Jr., Veronica Hopper; and 9 great-grandchildren: McKenzie, Keegan and Keleigh Faye Pickard, Charity Sadowski, Natilynn Nichols, Amara and Araya Whitaker, Myla Hopper Robinson and Niomi Hopper Hardwell.

The Hopper Family are honoring her wishes for cremation and further information will be announced as it becomes available by the Bells Funeral Home.
