Midtown woman talks about car break-ins

JACKSON, Tenn. – A woman spoke out in regards to the safety in her Jackson community.

Paige Labrador, who lives in midtown Jackson, says her neighbors made her aware that her car window had been broken out.

As Labrador proceeded to check out her vehicle, she noticed that there were multiple car windows broken out in the same parking area.

Labrador also says shoes and change were taken from the other vehicles in the area, but thankfully nothing in particular was taken from hers.

“There seemed to be another car but they left. I don’t know if that car was stolen or if the person just left, but they bust into that window too,” Labrador said.

Labrador also stated it’s a shame because they should feel safe.

“They’re looking for something, obviously, because everything is getting run through. My glove compartment was open. Everything was open,” Labrador said. “We’re supposed to have cameras in the neighborhood. We’re supposed to feel secure and safe and we don’t.”
