Country Christmas taking place in Hardin County this weekend

HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. – This Friday and Saturday, Country Christmas is happening at the Hardin County High School auditorium.

Country Christmas 2023

The fundraising events start at 7 p.m. and admission is $5. There’s a pre-show featuring The Wayne Jerrold’s band at 6:30 p.m.

Both shows involve local performers singing Christmas songs, silent auctions, a concession stand, and more.

The shows raise money to take local kids Christmas shopping.

Different schools join with volunteers to go with the children to pick out their gift.

Five to 800 kids get to be involved as all the Hardin elementary schools participate.

Donations are also made to the middle and high school.

“Christmas time is about giving. I know that there are children that get their Christmas wishes, but there’s always that one child that doesn’t. So this gives them an opportunity to come and make their Christmas wish true,” said Stephanie Timbes, the President of Country Christmas.

There will be wonderful talent by the Warehouse 64 band, Timbo White, Marilee Rickman and more.

So you’re encouraged to come out and have a good time for a good cause.
