Mid-December opening expected for Jackson’s new KFC

JACKSON, Tenn. — We have some “finger lickin’ good” news for fans of a popular restaurant chain.

The Hub City’s newest KFC is expected to open soon.

Construction began on the fast food restaurant, located at 2978 Ridgecrest Road in Jackson, more than a year ago.

After sitting dormant for months, this week brought renewed hope for chicken-lovers looking forward to the additional location.

The location has been relisted on KFC’s official website, and a hiring event was held earlier this week for potential staff.

We reached out to KFC’s U.S. media team, who confirms the restaurant is expected to open mid-December.

They also add that the location is still currently hiring, and interested applicants can apply by emailing resume@baobabbrands.com.

Jackson’s current KFC will remain open at 2051 North Highland Avenue.
