Community members help to provide holiday meals
JACKSON, Tenn.—Community members work together to bless families with a holiday meal.
Members from the Old Hickory Rotary Club along with several other volunteers worked together Saturday morning to put together Thanksgiving blessing boxes.
The event took place at 9 am at Central Distributors located at 1876 Lager Lane in Jackson.
The Thanksgiving blessing boxes are packed with all the needed food items to provide families with a delicious holiday meal.
The group prepared 200 Thanksgiving boxes aimed to provide holiday meals to 200 families. The boxes will be distributed through the Salvation Army and by additional volunteers to bless families in need.
This is an annual charitable event held by the Old Hickory Rotary Club. The event is held in honor and memory of the late Russell Clarkson.
