The Ned’s latest musical production continues to thrill audiences
JACKSON, Tenn.—The Ned hosts another heart stopping play at the theatre in downtown Jackson.
Saturday night was the fourth show of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”
This play tells the story of Joseph from the bible and his strength of surviving after being mistreated by his brothers.
The cast of the show are all volunteers who have worked hard since late August to make the show amazing.
This production also has funny moments along with singing and dancing for the family to enjoy.
One of the co-directors of the play shares her favorite part of the production.
“Potiphar ‘s wife tried to seduce Joseph. That’s one of my favorite parts because he’s trying to get away from Mrs. Potiphar and the second one Pharaoh’s song, is very entertaining. It’s like Elvis with a little bit of soul, extra soul to it. Clifton Smith is the one that’s playing Pharaoh, he’s definitely bringing the rock and roll,” said Tatonia Dunlap, Co-Director, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”
This production offers one more day to catch the show on Sunday at 2 pm.
