Attendees enjoyed several activities to help them get into the holiday spirit, including hayrides with Santa and Mrs. Claus along with roasting s’mores over a fire pit. The event also included live music and free hot dogs.
Organizers say a stall decoration contest is being held as well, with all proceeds going to the rescue.
“It all goes to take care of the horses. We are a 100% volunteer organization, so nobody out here gets paid. Every penny goes to the horses. We’ve got a cow that is getting prosthetics for her legs and the money that we raise goes towards that,” said Lori Collins, Director of Redemption Road Rescue.
If you would like to attend, the ‘Deck the Stalls’ event will continue Saturday afternoon from 4 to 8 p.m.
