One organization gives kids a shopping spree to remember
JACKSON, Tenn.—One project made dreams come true with an opportunity for children to smile from ear to ear.
The Masonic Christmas Project sponsored 28 children with a shopping spree at Big Lots.
This is the 11th year that this project has taken place.
The children were able to pick a shopper from a group of volunteers who took them on a shopping spree, where they could choose whatever they wanted.
Kids had the chance to spend $100 in the store and they even had a “Wrap up party” at noon to eat pizza.
“How many of us have given gifts and the kids played with the box, ok? Spend time with the kids. Make it a special time between you and them,” said David Vince, Chairman of Jackson Masonic Lodge #45.
Children were also presented a bonus gift package at the end of their shopping spree.
