One person dead following fatal crash in Haywood County
HAYWOOD COUNTY, Tenn.— Crash ends in fatality.
The Haywood County Sheriff’s Department and Tennessee Highway Patrol says one person is dead following a fatal crash that occurred Friday in Haywood County.
The Haywood County Sheriff’s Department posted on social media Friday the following statement:
We reached out to the Tennessee Highway Patrol for more information and received the following reply from Lieutenant Bill Miller, PIO, for THP.
“We can currently confirm that troopers in the THP Memphis District are conducting an ongoing fatal crash investigation in Haywood County on Hwy 54. There was one person killed in this incident. Again this is an ongoing investigation and therefore we will not be able to provide additional information at this time.”
