Little parade returns with Big fun in Brownsville
BROWNSVILLE, Tenn.—A sweet little parade returns to Brownsville.
The City of Brownsville held their annual children’s parade.
Children from all ages are encouraged to walk around Haywood County’s Courthouse.
They were able to bring bikes, scooters, and other transportation to enjoy the parade.
The parade is followed by a visit from Santa, who took pictures with families and allowed the kids to get in some last minute Christmas wishes.
Organizers say that this event is important to help children feel involved in the larger Christmas parade later that evening.
“I just love to see everybody with their Christmas spirit and everybody has their own way of showing how their favorite Christmas memories are shown,” said Heather Smith, EMA operations officer.
Later that evening, the city lit the court house Christmas tree and held its full Christmas parade.
