Milan, Humboldt hold holiday celebrations
GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. – Milan and Humboldt each held their holiday celebrations on Thursday.
Festivities kicked off in downtown Milan with their annual Christmas tree lighting and parade.
The event started at 4 p.m. with plenty of food vendors to choose from at the Milan Farmers Market.
The tree lighting ceremony was held near Milan City Hall, followed by the annual Christmas Parade that began on Main Street.
In Humboldt, they held their annual Christmas on Main and tree lighting ceremony near the downtown Mini Park.
Those in attendance enjoyed hot chocolate, popcorn, and a live nativity scene.
And children had the chance to write letters to Santa and take pictures with him.
