Actor Kel Mitchell talks helping families around the world this holiday season

JACKSON, Tenn. — As we are finishing up holiday shopping for friends and family, what are some ways that we can help people that may be in need?

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization that is helping families choose joy by helping others.

The World Vision gift catalog features over 100 lifesaving gifts that can help families across the world.

You can gift urgent supplies such as emergency kits, medicine and clothing, livestock gifts that can provide a source of food and income, or handmade gifts can be purchased for these families.

Kel Mitchell, star of the movie “Good Burger 2,” talks more about the importance of this opportunity.

“Give, you know what I mean? Put a smile on people’s faces. Especially this holiday season,” Mitchell said. “It’s Christmas, and we want to make sure that when we are giving, you can give to someone across the world. You can help someone out and help another family out. We want to make sure everyone has smiles here, but then also we’re all God’s children, you know what I mean. It’s a beautiful thing to help around the world too.”
