Holiday shopping expert talks tips on completing your gift list

JACKSON, Tenn. — You may be running out of time for your holiday shopping. So what are some tips on how to make sure you complete your list?

Trae Bodge, a holiday shopping expert, says to always check every resource on possible deals.

Even though Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone, that does not mean that there are no more deals out there.

Plenty of stores offer great deals on stocking stuffers this time of year as well.

Bodge spoke with us about one of the most important parts about holiday shopping.

“It’s so important to stay organized, you know many of us keep our holiday lists in our head,” Bodge said. “That’s not the most efficient place to have it. I like to use the notes app on my phone. I have my recipients, some gift ideas for each, a budget for each, and then you should also set a budget for yourself. We often do a lot of selfish shopping throughout the holidays. It’s certainly okay to treat ourselves, but you don’t want to go overboard.”

Bodge also says to look into rewards programs at stores where you regularly shop.
