Lexington authorities respond to fire on Eastern Shores Drive

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — First responders fought a fire at a home in Lexington Friday morning.

According to Lexington Police Chief Jeff Middleton, the fire occurred at a residence on Eastern Shores Drive.

Video shared with us by a WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News tipster shows police and fire officials at the scene around 6:30 a.m.

Chief Middleton confirms no injuries were reported.

An investigation into the cause of the fire remains underway.
