A Jackson volunteer organization hosts a special brunch

JACKSON, Tenn.—One organization hosted an event to support others.

Links Incorporated hosted their 7th annual Brunch event.

The volunteer organization of women helps to provide supplies to Alexander Elementary School.

Every year a fundraiser is held within the chapter for community service.

Items such as hand sanitizers, Clorox wipes, and disinfectant sprays have been collected so far to distribute to the children.

“The school will have a readily supply on hand for the children and staff and you know it’s cold and flu season, so we want to decrease the virus so those kids can stay in school,” said Mechelle Morgane, President of Jackson TN Links Inc.

Brunch was prepared by Roosevelt Washington, the owner of Rosie and Ruthie’s Catering.
