Cupcakes and Conversations with Queens to be held December 13

The following is a news release from Humboldt City Schools:

(Humboldt, TN, December 13, 2023) –Cupcakes and Conversations with Queens is an empowering event that brings together six local pageant queens and 4th, 5th, and 6th grade girls from East Elementary in Humboldt. During the event, the queens will discuss their platforms, which cover important topics such as bullying, breast cancer, healthy bodies, and being comfortable in your own skin.

The event is designed to provide young girls with role models who have a passion for making a difference in their community. By sharing their personal stories and experiences, the queens hope to inspire the girls to become confident, compassionate leaders who can also make a positive impact in their own lives and the lives of others.

In addition to the inspiring conversations, the event will also feature delicious cupcakes provided by Gallagher that the girls can enjoy while chatting with the queens. The young ladies will have the opportunity to have photographs with the queens. This is a great opportunity for young girls to learn from strong, intelligent, and compassionate women who are dedicated to making a difference in the world.

“It is our intention for this event to inspire, encourage and motivate the young ladies who have the opportunity to attend,” stated Superintendent Dr. Janice Epperson. “We want all our young ladies to be able to see themselves as leaders in their community and understand that their community supports them in achieving their dreams.”
