Samburg Police Chief Chris Cummings dies at 53

SAMBURG, Tenn. — The community is mourning the loss of Samburg Police Department Chief Christopher Cummings.

According to his obituary, Cummings died Sunday, December 10 at the age of 53.

A funeral service will be held at White-Ranson Funeral Home in Union City on Thursday, with visitation taking place Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.

The Samburg-Reelfoot Fire Department shared on social media that their thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family during this difficult time.
